The “Strategic Compensation Framework Project 2008” is supported by Employment Ontario and ONESTEP to address the key components of compensation and create useful tools to help organizations with their compensation practices.
a strategic
compensation framework
for the employment services sector
Employees want to be paid a fair wage in comparison to other jobs internally and in the marketplace. As managers of human resources, you also have expectations. You need to recruit and retain talented employees who are able to perform the job tasks and responsibilities and provide compensation packages that are externally competitive and affordable to the organization, as well as perceived by you and your employees as internally equitable.
Our Human Resources experts compared twelve key jobs across the public, private and not-for-profit employment service sectors. The tools created were based on the results of our surveys and research to help you understand how your compensation package measures up to your comparators and competitors regardless of your organization’s tax status. We hope that these tools will facilitate discussion with your Boards and funders and help level the compensation playing field in the employment services sector.
